We Understand the 2020/2021 Season has some questions, we hope to provide some clarification with some frequently asked questions and their answers.

Please understand this season is “subject to change”. We appreciate your participation and involment in our programs. We look forward to a season of development, local communtiy and enjoying the snow.

Frequently Asked Questions:

    • Please wear a mask that follows CDC guidelines.
      • Many ski companies are coming out with masks that are both warm and meet CDC guidelines.
    • Face Coverings should have at least 2 layers
    • If your face covering meets CDC Guidelines, you don’t need an additional mask under the face covering.
    • Face coverings must be worn inside, in the lift line and on the chairlift. Face coverings should be worn on the hill anytime 6 feet of separation cannot be maintained.
    • For any scheduled club program training sessions, you will NOT need to reserve through the public system. EMSC office staff will provide you with a secure way to book parking from the private inventory that Eldora has set aside for EMSC. More details on this process will be made available prior to program start dates.
    • Parents and families can enjoy the mountain during operating hours while their athlete is participating in their scheduled training.
    • If you would like to ski/ride outside of the scheduled training time, Eldora asks that you make a separate reservation through the public reservations portal at Eldora.com/parking.
    • It is important that parents are punctual in arriving and leaving to ensure space for all of our members.
    • For any scheduled club program training sessions, you will NOT need to reserve through the public system. EMSC office staff will provide you with a secure way to book parking from the private inventory that Eldora has set aside for EMSC. More details on this process will be made available prior to program start dates.
      • These codes will most likely be sent to registered families each week of training – more specific details coming soon.
    • If you would like to ski/ride outside of the scheduled training time, Eldora asks that you make a separate reservation through the public reservations portal at Eldora.com/parking.
    • Yes. Every vehicle going into Eldora is required to have a parking reservation.
    • Luckily, EMSC families can simply secure their code through us and use the code to drop off and pick up for scheduled training times.
    • The EMSC Reservation system will be utilized by 1 vehicle per athlete during their specific training time.
    • Family members may enjoy the mountain (during operating hours) while their athlete is training.
    • For another vehicle or to enjoy the mountain outside of training blocks, please make a public reservation at Eldora.com/parking.
    • If you would like to ski/ride outside of the scheduled training time, Eldora asks that you make a separate reservation through the public reservations portal at Eldora.com/parking.
      • Do not plan to come early or stay late unless you have another reservation.
  • No as of 11-10-20 there is no Team Travel or athlete use of vans. We will be revisiting these policies as we receive information from Boulder County and the CDC.
  • Please contact the Head Coach of your age group or program to get more information.
    • No. All athletes and coaches are required to complete a daily health screening. Anyone who does not pass the health screening (has symptoms) is not permitted to participate and MUST provide proof of a Negative COVID19 Test in order to return training.
    • Coaches or staff can deny an athlete from participating if they are displaying symptoms.
    • Anyone who has a positive COVID19 test MUST follow the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Return to Training and Competition After SARS-CoV-2 Infection Guidelines
    • Any athlete who has a household member with COVID19 or is awaiting test results must follow CDC Guidelines for quarantine.
    • Yes, every athlete the form can be found here. All athletes, coaches, staff, and guardians (who are present for 15 minutes or more) are required to complete a daily health screening including a temperature check. 
    • Health screenings should be completed prior to attending trainig.

  • The daily health screening inquiries of pending COVID19 tests. It is all of our responsibility to keep our community safe and take the necessary steps to not spread the virus.
